When blessing his children, Jacob called Judah a Lion's whelp. Christ, of the Line of Judah is the Lion of Judah, as described in Revelation 5.
And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” (Revelation 5:5 ESV)
The gospel element is also found in Judges 14, when Samson gives his riddle, “Out of the eater came something to eat. Out of the strong came something sweet.” And indeed, we do taste and see that the Lord is good.
